Junior Digital Biomarkers Data Analyst

Background:

Our Client's Pharma Research and Early Development Informatics team is the bridge between digital technology and science. Theyhelp drive medical innovation and are integral to the realization of truly Personalized Healthcare and the development of innovative treatments for their patients.

As part of the team, you will work on a project for broadening the understanding of how MS affects the different aspects of gait. Your work will be focused on IMU time's series data collected from MS subjects performing gait activities in a laboratory equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

* Workload: 100%
* Remote/Home Office: currently possible, on-site presence in future around 40%

Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Monitoring the flow of data from the sensors to the backend and be responsible for their completeness and accuracy
* Work with the other team members to improve the data processing pipeline
* Contribute to the development of visualization tools to improve the inspection of the data
* If time permits, contribute to the development of gait algorithms for IMU sensor data

Must Haves:
* Min. Bachelor or Master's degree in Mathematics, Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics or Computer Science
* Min. 2 years' experience in signal processing and time series analysis
* Hands-on experience with common digital signal processing and data analysis techniques to analyse time series data (filters, spectral analysis, classification, correlation, etc.)
* Hands-on experience analysing IMU sensor data
* Experience to proficiency with Python and programming best practices
* Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
* Structured approach to problem solving and attention to details

Nice to haves:

Experience with gait analysis of human movement
* Experience working with wearable sensors
* Experience with data collected in a gait lab with human subjects (familiarity with Motion Capture systems is a plus)
* Experience with SQLite
