One of our clients, a leader in the Medical Device industry, is looking for a Senior Project Manager for a 6-month contract based in Zuchwil or Le Locle, Switzerland.

Job summary

In the scope of a large transformation project that involves the divestiture of several production facilities to a manufacturing partner, our client is looking for an IT Project Manager to be based in based in Zuchwil or Le Locle. The selected candidates will take over crucial activities in plan development and implementation.

Your tasks & responsibilities

  • Engage line managers
  • Assess applications in use at the several plants in the production floor
  • Develop and document the project plan
  • Make sure that it's rolled out accordingly

What you must have

  • Experience in a manufacturing regulated environment
  • Strong IT Project Management Background
  • Experienced in validation of GXP applications
  • Experienced to work in a regulated environment
  • Experienced in application strategy planning (disposition strategy)
  • Experienced in application change control
  • Language English is a must, German or French (Le Locle) a clear advantage
  • Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science OR equivalent through experience
  • Advanced course work in technical systems plus continued education in technical disciplines is preferred
  • Additional PMI certification is a plus

Non-Technical profile requirements:

  • Some flexibility in working hours is required (occasional over-time or weekend/holiday work)
  • Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills
  • Strong leadership skills and able to motivate teams is a must
  • Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
  • Quick learner, motivated self-starter
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
  • Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines
