Experis IT Switzerland is looking for an Infrastructure Leader to join one of our clients based in Basel Land on a permanent engagement. The position is specifically in the Service sector for a national company. The candidate will require knowledge of IT servers, virtualization and network d be motivated to work in an exciting and fast paced environment where you will be exposed to a wide range of projects.

Tasks

• Managing the engineering and operation of the IT infrastructure
• Optimizing the infrastructure services with the business: adapting to new technologies and following business processes accordingly
• Dealing with third parties/ service providers
• Responsible for handling budget
• Implementing security guidelines

Skills

• Education in IT or similar
• Many years in a managerial role within an IT infrastructure environment and operations within an IT service organization
• Deep knowledge in servers, virtualization, networks, storage and hybrid environments.
• Experience working with the cloud (AWS, Azure,...)
• Knowledge of IT security concepts
• Fluency in German (written and spoken)
