HR Business Partner

Are you an HR Business Partner with 3 -5 years prior work of relevant and progressive HRBP experience, preferably in the international development or health sector, or related field of work ? Was this experience gained within a multinational and multicultural environment and are you looking for an exciting new opportunity within a non-governmental organisation (NGO) ? If so, please have a look at the following details:

Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for an HR Business Partner to join one of their clients, an NGO, based in Geneva.

Your role:

The HRBP is the key liaison for Managers and consults with them on non-complex HR issues. S/he applies knowledge of HR to meet the needs and requirements of the business areas. Functional responsibilities include the areas of compensation determination, employee development, HR planning, resourcing, employee relations, HR policy and procedure application (and compliance) and change management.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Be the "face of HR" and trusted advisor for managers, effectively providing HR consulting, including bringing in other expertise and services from within and outside the HR
    function, as needed;
  • Understand the strategic business plans, issues and challenges of the business areas, and their HR implications and ensure timely HR solutions are implemented to meet anticipated
  • Facilitate and support excellence in human resources management by providing ongoing HR advice to managers and staff on timely HR solutions, policies and practices objectively, with highest integrity, and based on best professional practices;
  • Work closely with the Workforce Planning and Analytics function, support and advise on development and implementation of effective staffing plans, that are agile and relevant to meeting the business objectives of the Divisions and Departments.
  • Use HR analytics effectively

To deliver the required results, it's necessary that you have:

  • 3-5 years of relevant and progressive HR experience;
  • Demonstrated planning capabilities;
  • Proven consulting and process facilitation skills;
  • Project and change management experience;
  • Demonstrated strong team work skills in working across organizational Divisions and Departments in a supportive and collaborative manner.
  • Ability to work in a very diverse environment, with people from a wide range of different cultures and backgrounds (public and private sector);
  • Good persuasive oral and written communications skills; professionally assertive with ability to influence without formal authority;
  • Strong coaching and conflict resolution skills;
  • HR Diploma as a minimum
  • Fluency in both English and French or one of the following Arabic, Chinese, Russian, and Spanish.
