Are you a Project Officer with minimum 5 years professional experience drafting and producing time-sensitive documents, including policies, manuals or governance documentation (e.g., terms of reference, charters, operating procedures); and are you looking for an exciting new opportunity? Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for Governance Officer to join one of their clients, an NGO, based in Geneva.

Your role:
You will advise and support the Board, its Standing Committees, and the executive management of the
Secretariat on governance activities, stakeholder engagement and related internal or external communications.

To deliver the required results, it's necessary that you have:

• University degree in a social science, public health, law, international development, governance or other relevant areas of study
• At least five years of relevant experience working with a variety of stakeholders (public sector, private sector, bilateral government agencies, multilateral bodies or authorities such as UN agencies, nongovernmental organizations, civil society)
• Experience in communicating and building relations in sensitive political environments;
• Drafting and producing time-sensitive documents, including policies, manuals or governance documentation (e.g., terms of reference, charters, operating procedures);
• Proven IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and use of the internet essential
• An excellent knowledge of English and a good working knowledge of French
