On behalf of our client, a leading provider of Software as a Service solutions, we are looking for a Full Stack Java Developer. For this perm position in the city of Basel in Switzerland, our client is looking for an English-speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. What you can expect:

• Design, build and maintain clean, efficient, and reliable Java and Kotlin code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Participate in workshops with clients to define appropriate requirements

What they expect from you:

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
• Proven experience in working with Java and Kotlin
• Experience in designing and developing large software applications
• Talent for writing clean, efficient, and readable code
• Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns, as well as test-driven development
• Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle
• Familiarity with Java GUI frameworks such as Swing and Java FX
• Familiarity with concepts of MVC and RESTful
• Experience with scalable cloud infrastructure
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• EU/CH passport complete your profile
