Overview of contract
On behalf of our client, a leading financial services institution in Zürich, we are looking for a Firewall Engineer
This is a 5-month contract based in Zurich
Main responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining support processes and tools for the global firewall infrastructure.
- Configuring and maintenance of the authorization rules for access to security devices
- Maintenance of supplier contacts at the operational level with the main suppliers of the firewalls
- Operating the intrusion prevention service (IPS)
- Supporting, on the first and second level the firewall, partner VPN and RAS VPN as well as the IPS infrastructure and authorization server
Your skills:
- Professional experience in the field of firewall engineering and design
- Network knowledge in routing, VLANs and multicast
- Project experience in an international environment
- Excellent methodological competence in relation to the analysis and visualization of complex issues
- Very good written and spoken English and German
