Our client is a leading company in the food industry. In order to support its growth in Europe we're today actively looking for a Senior Financial Controller to be based in Switzerland in the Zürich region. Responsible for management of all the corporate's financial and accounting functions, the chosen candidate will take care of all the financial operations and reporting. He will manage all of the corporation's Information Technologies as it relates to collection, processing, storage and reporting of financial data.

Responsibilities:


* Manage the reporting of the financial statements
* Analyze the main indicators in terms of


o Revenue analysis (margin, product mix, customer analysis, cost analysis)
o MODV Costs
o Procurement costs
o Logistics Costs


* Establish strategic business guide lines to be presented to the International Director.


* Deal with all aspects related to compliance


* Direct risk management by seeking options, analyzing, and making recommendations for amounts of insurance necessary, brokers and carriers


* Manage financial relationships with banks including review of monthly statement reconciliation and covenant reporting, as well as seeking options, analyzing, and making recommendations for amounts of financing necessary; banks and leasing companies.


* Prepare bank reconciliations for main account and special accounts.


* Develop, implement, monitor and modify the financial control and accounting systems to provide accurate and timely information for analysis and reporting.


* Prepare, review, and issue monthly financial reports including operating statements and supplementary information.


* Co-ordinate periodic reviews of accounts receivable, as well as additions and deletions from fixed asset schedule.

* Direct accounts payable, expense reports, and payroll.


* Coordinate benefit plan enrollments, changes, deletions of coverage, processing of monthly benefit plan premium payments, provide recommendations for required employee benefit


* Supervise full and part-time employees and contract engagements.


* Direct, manage, and develop the information technology function.


* Manage all of the corporation's Information Technologies as it relates to collection, processing, storage and reporting of data and user interfaces both hardware and software.


Education, Skills, languages :


* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance necessary


* CPA and/or MBA designation preferred


* Minimum of 5 years progressive accounting and finance experience in the areas of financial systems and reporting, risk management, employee benefits, cost accounting, information technology


* Proficient with current computer software including Microsoft Excel and other related financial and accounting software.


* Specific IT skills mandatory


* Fluent in English and German. Proficiency level in Spanish.
