.NET Platform Engineer (Operation)

Main Responsibilities:
- Engineering of the .NET application platform (Technology Standards: Classic .NET and .NET Core)
- Provision and operation of the .NET application platform
- Deployment management of .NET applications in the pre-production (UAT) and production environment
- Provision and operation of the infrastructure for the development, build and deployment pipeline (CICD) of .NET enterprise applications. (Technology standards: Visual Studio, Jenkins, Nexus, Octopus Deploy)
- Technical support for projects in questions of platform-specific and operational aspects
The skills and experience needed for these positions are:
- Must have Solid Knowledge of the .NET platform (Classic and Core) and able to use .NET Framework, C# and PowerShell
- Must have experience or knowledge of Octopus Deploy and Jenkins
- Must have experience in the operation of .NET Enterprise application platforms or general operations experience
- Knowhow of Agile Process Models, Delivery and operating processes
- Knowhow of Automation and Deployment
- Release automation experience and knowledge of the Container Platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry or Similar is an Advantage
- A degree in Computer Science or Specialist knowledge regarding .NET is an advantage
- Must speak Fluent German and English, Swiss German is an advantage
