"Corporate Actions Specialist" - Portfolio Accounting Services
Location: Zurich
Contract role: 6 months
Experis IT Switzerland is urgently looking for a Corporate Actions Specialist to join one of their clients in Zurich, a globally renowned organization with a fantastic brand! For this role we are looking for a candidate ideally with experience in a similar role to start as soon as possible who can speak fluent English and German.
On offer:

  • Responsible for the correct execution of all corporate actions transactions for our globally investing mandates of institutional investors and funds
  • Independent processing including forwarding and instructing of voluntary corporate actions transactions in cooperation with our portfolio management and to the respective custodians
  • Responsible for trouble shooting in case of ambiguity in cooperation with various agencies such as portfolio management, investment accounting, external and internal banks
  • Interface function between portfolio management and the external global custodians
  • Cooperation in the optimization of work processes including documentation, statistics
  • Opportunity to collaborate on quality improvement initiatives and projects


Experience/Skills required:

  • Completed banking education or business education
  • Good to very good knowledge especially in the area of corporate actions (stock dividends, splits, capital increases, etc.)
  • Two to five years of experience in securities operations
  • Knowledge of the use of market data systems, in particular Bloomberg and Telekurs
  • Strong team orientation and the ability to proactively solve problems
  • Affinity and interest in business and IT processes
  • Flexible, independent and exact way of working
  • Good MS Office knowledge
  • Thorough understanding of data/information flows across Front-Mid-Back office applications & departments in Asset Management
  • Distinct team-spirit and ability to work to solve problems
  • Independent, accurate and structured working method
  • Fluent in German and English
