Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for an experienced Cobol Developer to join one of their clients, a global consulting firm. For this temporary assignment based in Zürich, we are seeking for an English speaking candidate who is immediately available.

Your profile:
- +3-4 years in Cobol mainframe development
- Minimum 2 years experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, .Net, C/ C++
- Sound understanding of the mainframe fundamentals (TSO/ ISPF, VSAM, JCL)
- Knowledge of Raincode, LzLabs, Cornerstone (Google G4), SpliceMachine, MicroFocus or similar tools is a nice-to-have
- Experience or at least good knowledge of Cloud concepts
- Good knowledge about the concepts of hierarchical and relational databases
- Experience in working with DB2 (SQL), IMS DB
- Development of batch processes and online dialogs (IMS DC or CICS)
- Prior experience in financial services industry is preferred
- Scrum Master knowledge is a nice-to-have
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English as well as interpersonal skills

Start Date: September 2021
Duration: 6 months renewable contract
