On behalf of our client, an exciting start up involving engineers, artists and live events professionals, we are looking for a QT/C++ Front End Software Engineer, who is eager to join a young and dynamic team in Zurich.

Duration: Contracting or Permanent

Location: Zurich

Languages: English (fluent)

Required Skills & Experience:

• University degree in a relevant field
• Proven track record in designing and developing industrial grade graphical user interfaces
• Excellent knowledge of C++ and STL
• Excellent knowledge of Qt. and 3D SW libraries (the latter is a plus)
• Solid knowledge of software engineering principles
• In-depth understanding of algorithms and data structures
• Familiar with GDB and other debugging and program analysis tools
• Experience in Python and modern C++ is a plus
• Team player and self-driven

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing user friendly and responsive user interfaces for advanced robotic systems
• Manipulating complex 3D data for system calibration and choreography design
• Participating in the development process: requirements elicitation, design, implementation, testing, review, documentation and deployment
• Reviewing and designing documents
• Defining interfaces between back ends and front ends
• Designing general purpose libraries that can be used across Verity's code base
