Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for a Senior Software Developer who has knowledge of Sage50 ERP systems to help develop and implement modules

Work Location: Luzern - First 2-4 weeks onsite and then remote work is possible

Initial duration 4 months with the potential to be extended

Main responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring that modules implemented meet the high quality standards of
  • As part of a project team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the product corresponds to the latest trends in terms of the technologies used and the user interface.

Specialist tasks:

  • Creation of design proposals with subsequent implementation
  • Further development of the architecture and frameworks
  • Ensure high quality standards by using agile development methods (TDD, BDD, Pair Programming etc
  • Creation of features for new versions according to detailed concept
  • Maintenance of the existing application
  • Implementation of the latest technologies of software development
  • Cooperation in the implementation of new application architectures within the products
  • Collaboration in database and report design and implementation
  • Automated testing
  • Creation of detailed technical concepts
  • GUI design and implementation

Your Skills:

  • Sage50 ERP knowledge is essential
  • Programming experience with C# and .NET
  • Programming experience with C++
  • SQL
  • Experience with object-oriented design / architecture
  • Knowledge of databases / ADO.NET
  • Experience with any modern source code management system that supports branching andmerging
  • Experience with automated testing
  • Experience with a script language such as PowerShell
  • Languages: English: Must German: Beneficial
