Business Development Manager (Mobile Application Sales)

On behalf of our client, - a major Global Telecommunications group who are bringing innovative new technologies to market in all key sectors of the mobile internet economy, - we are looking for a Business Development Manager with experience in Mobile Application Sales in the Applications (Apps) Ecosystem area. This is a great opportunity to elevate your career within this fast-growing company and be in at the start of the launch of a new mobile ecosystem to challenge incumbent technology suppliers.

Your Main Responsibilities:

  • Define Strategic clients to target and develop opportunities within chosen industry sectors
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers at targeted accounts, identifying their project needs and business issues and conducting individual needs analysis
  • Proactively call into target Client accounts from targeted sectors
  • Update, maintain and expand the database of Targeted Clients
  • Conduct annual business development plans to assess and broaden the strategic EU Apps Ecosystem market and new business development opportunities
  • Overcome objections and effectively communicate value propositions to key decision makers regarding appropriate offerings
  • Transfer qualified leads to appropriate project leaders for follow-up
  • Maintain up-to-date and extensive knowledge on all product offerings through participation in product demonstrations, meetings and marketing materials
  • Highly pro-active in both researching and finding opportunities in the consumer AI industry
  • Aware of industry trends and maintains extensive knowledge of competitor's offerings
  • Project Lead the Swiss App development project, collaborate and liaise with the WEU product centre on a regular basis.

What You bring with you:

  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar role is a must
  • Experienced in Business and Account Development and/or working for a leading technology company in a similar capacity to the role described above
  • Experienced working in the software & the App development field
  • Ability to translate technical information into easy to understand language for partners
  • Proven ability to network and research competitors and clients
  • Strong presentation skills, excellent interpersonal and leadership with strategic thinking
  • Self-motivated, proactive and target-oriented
  • Strong ability to learn, self-management skills and the ability to work independently
  • High flexibility and able to manage multiple tasks, being target oriented and able to work under pressure
  • High Proficiency in English and German
