Experis IT Switzerland is on the search for a Project Business Controller to join one of their clients, a well-known international company. Duration: 11 months, with possibility of further contract extension

Location: Turgi (Aargau)

Workload percentage:100%

Set up: both on-site and home office

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring transparent and reliable financial data and estimates, ensuring good quality and deadlines.
• Participate in project reviews, ensuring appropriate project financial planning, providing financial guidance to the project management team and managing financial risks and opportunities.
• Verifying tendering calculations and approving order intake documentation.
• Coordination & guidance of the relevant Global Business Services resources.
• Following up and ensuring compliance on corporate governance, integrity and internal control, local and group directives and instructions.
• Supporting internal and external audit, SOX control owner.
• Timely and efficient communication with the local management team and to global stakeholders on financial performance and actions, business partnering.

Key Requirements:

• Master or bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Finance (or similar)
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in an international business environment, accounting and/or business control function
• Willing to work under pressure, to assume responsibility
• Profound knowledge finance and control end-to-end processes and tools (SAP, etc.) and US GAAP regulations (e.g. knowledge of revenue recognition principles)
• Fluent English, and fluent German is a big plus
• Hands-on mentality and the ability to work independently, pragmatic and proactively both with local and global contacts
