Overview of contract
On behalf of our client, a leading financial services institution in Zürich, we are looking for a Business Analyst who can help design, implement and steer the reporting solutions to meet the reporting requirements as they migrate from a Business Objects to a Microsoft Azure solution within their Trading area.
Main responsibilities
- Collect/collate/prioritise business requirements in partnership with senior stakeholders IT Team
- Design and Implement the reporting requirements with the Subject Matter Experts and the incumbent IT Team on both the existing platform and the new platform.
- Contribute to the delivery of the replacement reporting solution built on Microsoft Azure
- Ensure high quality of deliverables, through the good unit and integration testing, ideally helping to build automated test cases
Your skills:
- A minimum of 10 years of professional work experience, at least five of which have been gained in large financial corporations.
- Several years of professional experience working with trading platforms ideally within the domains of Collateral Management and/or securities lending is highly desirable.
- A demonstrable track record of Business Analysis as well as hands-on implementation
- A reporting experton Business Objects and have exposure to the Microsoft reporting stack in particular SSAS & PowerBI - or vice-versa
- Very strong with SQL (preferably Oracle)
- Practical experience with Cloud Platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure)
- Working experience of SCRUM
