On behalf of our client, a global IT Consultancy, we are looking for a Big Data Architect (Oracle / SQL), who is eager to join a young and dynamic team in Zürich.
Duration: 6+ months
Location: Zurich, Switzerland
Languages: Fluent in English
Responsibilities:
- Customer / Business User coordination
- Requirements, feasibility study and impact analysis to develop estimates and release projects requirements
- Exposure to handling production issues and resolving them quickly and efficiently
- Ability to assign tasks to other team members
- Timely completion of projects
Required Skills & Experience:
- Technologies used: Big Data, Scala Programming, Apache Flume, Core & Advanced Java
- Databases: Oracle, DB2
- Build Tool: Maven, ANT, Continuous Integration
- Messaging Knowledge: MQ Exposure
- Batch Job: Unix Scripts & Batch Exposure
- Scheduler: Control-M Exposure
