Application Specialist (Energy Industry)

Your tasks

• Monitoring and ensuring ongoing application operation
• Continuous improvement of applications in terms of operability, availability and cost efficiency
• Identification and evaluation of business requirements new functionalities in collaboration with users
• Compliance with agreed service levels
• Active participation in projects for the further development of the application landscape taking into account the applicable architectural specifications
• Independent planning of releases and updates including functional tests
• Creation of customer-specific evaluations and statistics on business transactions
• Creation, updating and administration of all required documentation

Your profile

• Completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar
• Practical experience in application management and user support
• Good knowledge of IT architectures, technologies and interfaces
• Understanding of data and configuration management
• Certification ITIL Foundation or experience in the application of ITIL processes is beneficial
• Practical experience in requirement engineering and specifications
• Analytical skills and rapid comprehension to solve problems
• Good teamwork and high customer orientation
• Fluent in German and advanced English
• Takeover of on-call service
