Online Marketing - Social Media Manager

Experis is currently supporting our client, a premier global financial brand, with their search for #OnlineMarketinManager. I am looking for you: a specialist with 3+ years of experience in #Marketing and #SocialMedia with great communication skills. Are you familiar with LinkedIn, Twitter and co? Do you spend all your time on social media and are you also creative? Then we are looking for you! As part of a small team, you will be responsible for managing social media channels. From posting to consulting to further development, everything is part of the team's tasks and yours. This position is a maternity cover and is limited to 6 months.

About the role:

  • Create, coordinate and manage Swiss Re's presence across social media channels, including, but not limited to LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, by leveraging the full capabilities of these platforms
  • Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tool (Hootsuite) * Utilise social listening tools to understand current conversations and how they can create new social opportunities
  • Active community management
  • Use analytics data to further develop content
  • Identify and communicate key insights for content creators and internal stakeholders to improve our campaigns and make better strategic decisions
  • Keep up to date on trends, tools, applications and emerging technologies in the social media space
  • Foster relationships and networks with key stakeholders within and outside of Group Communications

Your background:

  • 3+ years' experience in social media management and creative development; experience in a creative, dynamic and digital environment
  • A degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a similar degree program
  • A strong understanding of social media channels, landscape and latest developments
  • A detailed understanding of the algorithms, analytics, and the lifecycle of a social media post.
  • Ability to measure the success of campaigns
  • Working knowledge and hands-on experience in planning, managing, and executing social media initiatives
  • Ability to build social media communities
  • Strong storytelling, writing and editing skills with experience in content creation for digital formats
  • A balance of creative mindset and good visual instinct with strong analytical skills, understanding data and KPIs, and how to build strong metrics for organic engagement, growth, and reach
  • Strong results orientation and ability to challenge the status quo * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be vey organized
  • Attention to detail, creative problem-solving and good time-management skills * Solid planning/project management competence
  • Strong team mentality
  • Exceptional influencing and networking capabilities
  • Proficient in English. Other European languages (s) desirable You are
