For one of our client, a international brand, Experis IT is looking for a senior manager to lead business shared services team with a focus on finance and tax applications. The responsibilities of this role include overseeing the delivery of the finance and tax project portfolio, serving as a point of escalation for urgent or high-priority support issues, and developing a team of talented individuals.
Business Analyst - Finance & Tax EMEA
As a team lead for business application professionals responsible for corporate tax and finance applications, some of your key responsibilities will include:
Leading a team of business application professionals: This includes setting goals and expectations for team members, managing their performance, and providing support and guidance as needed.
Mentoring and developing team members: You will be responsible for helping team members grow and advance in their careers by providing mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities.
Ensuring that team members have the necessary skills and resources: This includes identifying any training or resource needs and helping team members access the tools and support they need to be successful in their roles.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with business stakeholders: You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that the Finance and Tax project portfolio is aligned with business priorities.
Delivering the Finance and Tax project portfolio on time and within budget: This involves effective scope management, portfolio dependency and risk management, resource planning, and budget management.
Managing urgent/high priority support issues: You will be responsible for ensuring that urgent/high priority support issues are addressed in a timely manner and that employee satisfaction is maintained.
Leading global Requests for Proposals (RFPs): You will be responsible for leading the process of selecting new application vendors and services by participating in RFPs and evaluating proposals.
Continuously improving processes and practices: You will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve processes and practices in order to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills required
- Expertise in corporate tax and finance applications.
- SAP is required.
- Project management skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to mentor and develop team members
- Have the ability to solve complex problems in a logical and structured manner.
- Have experience in the fashion, retail, or luxury industry is desirable.
- Have technology qualifications such It methodology and computer science.
- Be fluent in English.
- Fluent in french is a strongly desirable.
