Patricia Marchorro, Project Managment Assistant
Experis offers great opportunities to work with leading international organisations. Our consultant Patricia Marchorro is working for a pharmaceutical company in Switzerland as a Project Management Assistant. As part of the PMO, Patricia supports the realisation of IT projects across different areas of the organisation.
We sat down with Patricia to find out what
is like for her.
Experis: What makes your job meaningful?
My job lets me be part of something big. I work in a global company so it means a lot knowing that my daily contributions to various IT projects has a direct positive impact on my colleagues worldwide.
Experis: What makes your job engaging? Inspiring? Challenging?
I'm always learning something new every day. When I first started, the company really supported me by providing excellent training which has helped me get acquainted with the organisation and get used to the job itself.
My manager is very supportive. We’ve got numerous projects running in parallel which means she’s one of the busiest people in the company but she’s still able to find the time to answer any questions I have as well as being open to my ideas.
One of the most challenging aspects of the job is making sure that everyone who’s part of the project are able to deliver on time. It’s part of my job to keep track of what’s happening and to follow up with the people concerned.
Experis: What makes your colleagues/company great?
I'm grateful to Experis and to my team for this great job opportunity where I'm constantly learning and exchanging knowledge with very professional and experienced Project Managers.
Our organisation is flat so it’s easy to approach my colleagues and they are always open to share their expertise with me.
We don’t just find jobs. Experis understands that it’s not just about what Patricia can do that’s important, but what she wants to do in the future.
