Are you a qualified AWS Cloud Engineer with at least 7 years work experience, and are you looking for an exciting new opportunity within one of the UN agencies? If so, please have a look at the following details:

Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for a Cloud Engineer to join one of their clients, one of the UN agencies, based in Geneva.

Role responsibilities:-

You will :-

Participate in the deployment, complex configuration, support and evolution of the cloud system.

Design, operate and maintain the PCT cloud infrastructure using a fully automated approach

Enable the CI/CD for all PCT applications to an AWS environment following internal guidance.

To deliver the required results, it's essential that you have experience in the following:

• 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS and cloud best practices.
• AWS Solution Architect Certification; Associate or Professional
• Previous professional AWS migration
• In-depth knowledge of major cloud providers and virtualized infrastructure.
• Experience in migration of applications into a scaled, distributed/hybrid cloud.
• Expertise in container orchestration tools like Fargate, ECS, etc.
• Strong hands-on experience in infrastructure automation tools, i.e. CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible etc.
• Experience in securing and operationalizing API layers in a cloud environment
• Important expertise in serverless systems,
• Solid understanding of cloud based networking, including hybrid topologies
• Significant experience with operational management, metrics-based processes and automation of IT processes.
• Experience with Linux and Windows system administration, virtualization using VMWare, system management tools and processes.
• Excellent communication skills, spoken and written English
