Specialist function: Support in planning, designing and operating IT services for operational operations in the SDX internal IT service desk

Function:

  • Locating and isolating faults, initiating alternative and / or escalation procedures, triggering any necessary recovery, restart and restore procedures-
  • Advising users on all operational issues, especially around Microsoft Azure (Microsoft 365) and Windows 10 laptops-
  • Incident reporting using an internal ITSM software solution (Freshservice IT Service Desk)-
  • Provision of hardware (laptops) and software for new SDX employees in consultation with the HR department and the IT system engineers-
  • Controlling and monitoring the system utilization-
  • Ensuring the operation of the hardware and software including an inventory of the hardware-
  • Ensuring information security for IT services based on agreed service levels and defined security profiles

Conditions:

  • University of applied sciences or similar training-
  • In-depth user knowledge of the technologies used-
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL (Incident Mgmt.) And IT Service Desk-
  • In-depth knowledge of service management-
  • Has a structured working method
  • Good knowledge of German and English, French is an advantage

Responsibility:

  • Ensuring the operation
  • -Successful processing of emerging end-user problems (incidents) together with the internal engineering team
