SRE Engineer

On behalf of our client, a Swiss company and leader in the watchmaking industry we are looking for an experienced SRE engineer to join their dynamic team. You would be working in the IT Systems & Infrastructure division of the company. This is a permanent position in the Lausanne region you need to be fluent in French and English, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible. Your Tasks:

• Manage the Mission Critical Web Hosting infrastructure
• Provide support to customers using the infrastructure
• Work on advancements for the continuous improvement of the Web administration infrastructure
• Provide technical and architectural competences
• Give 3rd level support
• Evaluate, compare, implement new technologies coming in the marketplace
• Manage partners and suppliers
• Be on the 24/7 on call service

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent amount of professional experience or education
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in information technology / Web hosting technology
• Experience with Core Internet Protocols (TCP, DNS, HTTP: TLS)
• Experience with Infrastructure as a Code, Git, CI/CD
• Professional Experience with Docker container in the production environment
• Experience with Load balancer, WAF, DevOps methodologies
• Previous Experience in Web Development, Kubernetes, Project management are of advantage
• Demonstrated initiative, customer orientation and teamwork competencies
• Ability to explain technical issues with non-technical people
• Capable of working under pressure and being autonomous
• Structured, systematic, and analytical approach
