Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for a Data Architect to participate in the planning and evaluating of database architecture and technologies for a long-term DataHub solution

Main responsibilities

• Gather and analyze the requirements
• Identify database technology options and evaluate them based on the requirements
• Using your broad knowledge and experience in database technologyto propose and help selectoptions.

Your skills:

• Previous experience in the evaluation and design of architectures for data-driven solutions
• Previous experience in the implementation of cloud technologies (e.g. Azure, GCP etc.)
• Knowledge is required in the following technologies:
  • Relational databases such as SQL Server and/or Oracle or PostgreSQL
  • NoSQL databases of different types e.g. key-value or document
  • Cloud databases such as Azure Cosmos DB
• Experience in technology selection for large enterprises
• The ability to communicate complex technical matters to a business audience in plain language
• Ideally previous experience in the Financial Services industry
• Full command of the English language, spoken and written with a good command of German or French languages, spoken and written
