Overview of contract
On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for a Risk Officer to be the primary point of contact for all data privacy and regulatory risk matters that relate to data sourcing.
Main responsibilities
- Support the existing regulatory related projects, as well as intensively complex data privacy and data protection issues.
Ensure adherence to strict Swiss and other international banking secrecy, data protection and employment law requirements and laws - Monitor and notify relevant stakeholders of changes in law.
- Assess impact, issue recommendations and inform accordingly to facilitate timely adoption of modifications necessary for compliance
- Provide support in collaboration with legal team for global Roll-out, implementation and adherence to local data sharing protocol (as implemented for global compliance operations in CH)
- Provide analytical support and strategic insights to align with cross-divisional stakeholders and partners to enable initiatives related to data erasure
Your skills:
- A minimum of 6 years' professional experience in the Legal and Data Protection field - GDPR familiarity highly beneficial.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant working experience in a bank, financial institution or consultancy on cross-border legal topics.
- Legal background / training would be beneficial
- Specific and in-depth knowledge of Data Protection Laws as well as Technology Law (IT/IP)
- Written and spoken English language
