On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for a Senior Risk Controls Analyst with Quantitative Audit or Model validation experience.
Overview of the project:
- The function sits within Credit Risk Management team as a result of a new strategy to further integrate the Credit Risk and Reputational Risk processes and to manage total "client risk" on a more holistic basis
Responsibilities:
- Support in development of Net Zero accounting measures and trajectories to enable the client to align its financing with the Paris Agreement objective of limiting global warming to 1.5° C
- Development of control framework to ensure that Net Zero program operates in an optimized to minimum operational risk
- "In-house" model and calculations review and challenge
- Support with climate related data collection and validation
- Framework documentation support
Skills:
- Experience in quantitative audit or model validation function
- Strong experience with control frameworks
- Analytical mind and structured approach to problems
- Fast-paced, going in steps toward "perfection", but accepting uncertainty in initial analyses
- Data handling
