Procurement Project Coordinator

Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for an experienced Procurement Coordinator to join one of their clients, a well renowned global organisation. For this temporary engagement, we are seeking an English speaker who is available in a short notice.

Project details: supporting the team with COVID-19 activities on either a regional and/or global level (to assist with the with the planning, monitoring and reporting of all ongoing COVID-19 activities).


Main responsibilities:

  • Establish overall suppliers list per country to be monitored
  • Get in contact with the sites to identify supplier contact persons/details
  • Contact periodically suppliers to ask for recent status/update
  • Update information on internal SharePoints
  • Check with supply chain impact in case of delays
  • Support Global Category Managers for reporting these data
  • Track and report PPE across manufacturing network and BioLife
  • Coordinate supplier contacts to inform of inventory adjustments
  • Coordinate point/clearing house for all comms from suppliers and establish database of responses/issues
  • Facilitate weekly meeting with sites/regions to gather data and status on PPE materials/ usage. Can be for the US and EU regions.
  • Centralize reporting of all ongoing activities/risks and support communication status to executive management


Your profile:

  • Excellent organizational, project management, communication (written and verbal) and facilitation skills
  • Good analytical skills (effectively supports decisions on factual data and analysis)
  • Word processing (Microsoft Word) and data base/spreadsheet (Excel) software and Ariba
  • Business Acumen (concepts and practices and applies them across all situations)
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment
  • Ability to think strategically and globally
  • Experience running project globally and remotely with minimum support staff
  • Able to interface with multiple levels of management, including senior management at both procurement and business unit levels
  • Fluent in English
  • Previous pharma / Direct Procurement experience is a plus
