Experis is currently supporting our client, a climate change technology company with progressive values and a strong brand, with their search for an English-speaking PostgreSQL Database Developer.
This contract position is based in Zurich, Switzerland. If you bring along the required background, please read on and apply!
Key requirements:
- +5 years' experience in IT
- Good knowledge & work experience on database like Oracle OR Sybase OR PostgreSQL
- Good knowledge & work experience on Azure cloud DB migrations OR platform upgrades
- Strong work experience in SQL and PL/SQL programming
- Strong attention to detail to evaluate data for accuracy and errors
- The ability to problem-solve under pressure and in complex situations
- A methodical and logical approach to planning and organization of DB migrations
- The ability to clearly communicate with application team/client team
- Excellent time management skills and a goal-oriented personality
- A strong understanding of data protection and data governance
- A thorough understanding of database systems and software
