Overview of contract
On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for a contractor who is able to help re-code an Oracle DWH.
This is a 12 month contract based in Zurich with the potential to be extended
Main responsibilities
- The role will include the delivery and engineering of a transformation of the current Oracle database running on an Exadata platform
- SQL tuning
- Provision of L2 operational support and engineering services to the Banks Oracle database estate.
- Responsibilities include Change, Incident and Problem management / ownership.
- The role is crucial to ensure the operational support of the current Oracle data warehouse systems built on Oracle`s Engineered Systems platform, Exadata.
Your skills:
- Oracle 19c in smart scan and HCC
- Oracle SQL tuning and re writing for Exadata
- At least 5 years of the experience working as Database developer
- Knowledge of Exadata hardware
- Data guard
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills - advance English language skills.
