Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage operational risk processes, control testing and reporting related to Audit, SOX and compliance requirements
  • Manage monthly contingent worker background screening control process for verification of completions
  • Drive, resolve and document closure of procedural issues or risks in close collaboration with team subject matter experts
  • Provide project management support on key initiatives and projects related to Credit Suisse external workforce
  • Support initiatives to automate processes and provide expertise in testing
  • Point of contact for contingent worker policy and procedure related questions, especially in the field of contingent worker background screening and standards of conduct

Challenges Contractor will be facing in this role:

  • Operational risk matters require experience and ability to quickly get and overview of how the External Workforce Management team works and to being able to assess relevance for upcoming risks / issues
  • Needs patience to remind / teach contingent worker external suppliers and internal business partners on policy and process requirements
  • Will have to bring good Excel Skills to manage still manual background screening verification process
  • Requires initiative and drive to move projects forward

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Operational Risk & Control
  • Minimum of 4-7 years professional work experience with increased levels of responsibility
  • External workforce, Audit or HR recruitment knowledge is beneficial
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication and organizational skills, ability to multi task
  • Good Microsoft Office knowledge, especially Excel
