Overview of contract
On behalf of our client, a leading media business in Zürich, we are looking for a Java software Developer to join a central integration Scrum team
The business is consistently producing multimedia products and use an integration platform which enables communication between applications and services, orchestrates workflows and ensures the exchange of metadata.
The team develops and operates its own microservices based on open source frameworks, which provides a high degree of flexibility for customizations and extensions.
We are looking for a Java software Developer to join this central integration Scrum team for an initial 6 month contract with the potential for extension or internalisation
Your skills:
- A minimum of 5-7 years of practical experience in backend development with Java, Spring Boot, Gradle and Git. Knowledge of Camunda is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in applying modern practices such as CleanCode, TDD and CI/CD.
- Agile and team-oriented mindset, communicative, good analytical skills and methodical and conceptual thinking.
- Solid education in computer science or completed studies in software engineering.
- Business fluent German and English languages are both required.
