For one of our clients with HQ in Basel, specialized in the development of an enterprise software package, we are looking for a team leader, to further develop, operate, and secure our successful worldwide hosting service.
This is a challenging permanent position starting as soon as possible.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Provide and enhance worldwide hosting services to our customers
- Support the team and ensure the company deliver value to the customers
- Ensure defined service levels for availability, performance and security
- Collaboration with other teams to further develop our services and company growth
- Configure, test, roll out, operate and monitor automated cloud-based systems
Requirements:
- Sc. in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering or equivalent experience
- 4+ years' experience as a Linux system administrator
- 4+ years' experience in the operation of enterprise applications and DBMS systems like Oracle, PostgreSQL and MS-SQL
- 1+ years of experience running applications with cloud providers like Google Cloud
- 1+ years' experience as a team leader
- Strong know how of networks
- Experience in configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools using Puppet and Terraform
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, etc
- Strong analytical skills combined with conceptual thinking and structured working style
- Highly proactive and independent
- Strong communication skills in English
