Finance Controller

Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for an experienced Finance Controller to join one of their clients, a well-known company. For this temporary assignment based in Zürich, we are in search of an English speaking candidate who is available immediately.

Your Experience:

Providing training and guidance to IT managers on all Finance matters

• Support monthly closing activities

o Communication of monthly close timelines and activities

o Review accuracy / completeness accruals and documentation

o Review accuracy of posted actuals

o Perform all internal control checks required by the accounting hubs

o Send out month variance reports and arrange monthly review meetings with IT managers

• Support projects business case review activities including

o Synergy baseline and documentation verification

o Asset impairment calculations

o Management of project cost tracking structure

• Support for twice a year budgeting cycles
• Support the continued evaluation and improvement of business process as well as continued development of Finance reports and tools in accordance to the needs from the business

Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years in FP&A roles, Accounting background beneficial
• Strong data and analytical skills, process oriented and highly organized with a focus on detail, accuracy and precision
• Microsoft office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, PowerBI) Advanced Excel and Power BI skills beneficial
• Finance systems knowledge beneficial (SAP, JDE, HFM, TM1)
• IT Finance / Project experience, beneficial if in the Manufacturing and ERP area
• Proven team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
• German and English - Fluent written and spoken

Location: Zurich, Switzerland

Start Date: Beginning of November 2019

Duration: 1 year contract
