Hortonworks HDP Expert

As I had informed yesterday, the IBM DB2 DBA position is closed. We have the position open with revised role details and a JD, please see below:-

Role : Hortonworks HDP Expert

• Main focus on HDP Security implementation / configuration

• Tasks
  • Security Components set-up
    • Incl. expertise on KNOX, Kerberos, RANGER and ATLAS (latest Hortonworks HDP release 3.1)
    • Interfacing with SSO Security Providers such as WSO2 (SAML, etc.)
    • Securing HIVE / HBASE / KAFKA / YARN in a Multitenant HDP cluster
    • Security Integration with any big data jobs such as SPARK, SPARK structured streaming, HIVE, etc.)
  • Provide support and guidance for
    • Windows AD group definition
    • Automation of RANGER policies creation / update /delete
    • Automation of metadata capture to ATLAS
  • Write the installation guideline
  • Write operating guideline
  • Reproduce the installation for production environment
  • Transfer the knowledge to the client

• A plus / Nice to have:
  • Ability to provide recommendation for disaster recovery strategy and Backup and restore (DELL ISILON storage)
  • Support with CDC tool integration (Attunity Replicate CDC / KAFKA)

• Duration : 6-8 weeks, potentially extendable

Rate : 950 CHF / day
