Our client, an intenational consulting firm operating between business and IT, is looking for a Head of Consulting for Banking with previous banking and IT consulting experience in Bern or Zürich. They are looking for an energetic, passionate, result-driven and structured leader able to provide guidance to the team and deliver business goals.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead the business consulting team for the company's complex banking projects
• Contribute to the company's corporate success by actively maintaining and expanding your client porfolio and strategic partnerships, as well as by gaining new projects
• Control the punctual completion of project activities and ensure the execution of profitable projects
• Identify opportunities for optimization side by side with customers
• Support customer management as well as acquisitions and pre-sales activities
• Continuously expand our consulting and service portfolio
• As a leader, inspire customers as well as employees

Your profile:

• Bachelor or Master degree in business or IT
• Over 12 years of experience as a project manager and manager in the IT environment
• Extensive experience with key accounts management and in the development, leadership and coaching of employees
• Good understanding of banking industry, its products and services, as well as the challenges of digital transformation
• Good knowledge of the IT landscape of banks, current architectures and development methodologies
• Excellent sales records and negotiation skills
• Broad network and strong key client relationships in the Swiss German-speaking area
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills at any levels of the organization, especially C-level
• Proficient in German and English (orally and writing)
• Willingness to travel in the German-speaking area of Switzerland
