Communications Manager

Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for an experienced Communications Manager to join one of their clients, a well-known company. For this temporary assignment based in Zürich, we are in search of an English speaking candidate who is available in a short notice.

Project details:

This role has 3 key pillars - ensuring that all communications within the Zurich Site is managed effectively and efficiently, supporting Employee Experience for the Zurich Site through communicative channels in close partnership with the Zurich HR Team, and collaborating with other communications teams to synergize, synchronize and leverage initiatives wherever possible. This includes Internal Communications for global campaigns, Global HR, Swiss Commercial entity for activities focused on patient centricity, and other employee engagement activities.

Major responsibilities:

  • Serve as a single point of contact for Zurich Site communications related inquiries including governance of cross functional/ BU news flow
  • Provide communications consultancy and hands-on support to internal business partners in conceptualizing and executing Site-wide activities
  • Provide communications support to Site Management
  • Manage calendar of activities encompassing all business and site driven communication
  • Manage Zurich Site Townhalls
  • Coordinate and provide communications support for internal events
  • Manage site related offline and online channels
  • Maintain Zurich Site Intranet pages
  • External communications management

Your profile:

  • 5 years' experience in a communications role preferably in the pharmaceutical industry or broader healthcare sector
  • University degree in communications, journalism, corporate affairs or similar
  • Languages: Fluency in English (mandatory/native level capability) and preferably in German
  • Good visual graphic design skills and artwork production processes
  • Internal Communications / Change Management / Event Management experience is considered an asset
  • Agency management
  • SharePoint capabilities will be an asset
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Exceptional copy writing skills
  • High proficiency as a multitasker and project/event manager
  • Ability to perform under tight deadlines keeping calm
  • Ability to navigate a change environment
  • Cultural sensitivity/experience and adaptability working cross functionally in a multi-cultural environment
  • Creative and proactive thinker and solution-oriented mind-set
  • Experience in using tools, e.g. SharePoint, Adobe design etc. and with different communications channels (e.g. video, digital)

Location: Zurich, Switzerland

Start Date: End of January

Duration: 8 months contract with further option of extension
