Are you a Cloud Solutions Architect with a experience of 12-15 years, and with 5+ years in consulting/design/implementation of scaled,distributed cloud applications ?

Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for a Cloud Solutions Architect to join one of their clients, based in Geneva.

Your role:

The position is responsible for architecting and supporting the migration of a significant number of business applications from the Clients legacy infrastructure to the cloud environment and for planning, engineering and executing migration of an existing application farm to the cloud, in a micro services environment. This position will also be responsible for strategizing cloud architecture and scalable solutions including choice of orchestration & container platforms.

Your responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include:

• Participate in the design and architectural decisions for business applications to be deployed in a cloud environment;
• Work closely with customers, transfer knowledge and propose architectural solutions designed for successful deployment in the cloud;
• Guide customers to ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services following the principles cloud architecture frameworks;
• Work with the operations teams to implement system changes;
• Implement, manage, and support technical processes for deployment of infrastructure, automation of deployment and operations, and related practices;
• Document all components of the infrastructure, document changes and follow change control management procedures;
• Ensure all cloud infrastructure and application architecture designs are in compliance with securitypolicies and standards;

To deliver the required results, it's necessary that you have:

• Total experience of 12-15 years, with 5+ years in consulting/design/implementation of scaled,distributed cloud applications
• AWS Solution Architect Certification; Associate or Professional.
• 4+ years of Cloud Native experience working with Containers/Microservices/Kubernetes etc
• Proven Cloud architecting experience for at least 3 organisations, including re-architecting applications for cloud migration
• Experience with at least one cloud orchestration tool such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform
• In-depth knowledge of cloud providers and virtualized infrastructure
• Expertise in container orchestration tools like OpenShift, Kubernetes etc.
• Hands-on experience in DevOps toolchain - Jira/GitHub/Jenkins/Liquibase or equivalent
• Excellent document production skills - design documents, architecture diagrams
