Senior UI/UX Designer - Banking / product ownership

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate requirements gathering for User Interface & User Design
- Collaborate with the users and stakeholders to discuss product requirements and validate the roadmap. Work closely with the Product Owners and partner with the developers on daily basis to manage and deliver the requirements. Work with POs on defining the concepts, and define the design timelines considering the project scale.
- Engage with senior management, end-users, UX/UI designers, IT, Front
- Lead the creative decisions on your projects across all dimensions. He/she must ensure the quality of the work that is delivered.
- Design visual concepts based on the requirements defined and gathered by the POs. Can visualize great ideas that can engage and inspire of users/stakeholders. Design mood boards, concept sketches, design high and low fidelity mock-ups, and develop prototypes.
- Validate your designs/ wireframes with the users via User testing sessions and gather the observations. Analyze and implement them in pixel perfect design mocups and share them with the developers.
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- Business Analysis & Process Thinking
- Solid understanding of product ownership, agile and scrum principle
- Strong hand-on knowledge of Design thinking ideologies and should have experience of working in Agile environment.
- Knowledge of tools like Sketch, Invision, Balsamiq is a must.
- Storytelling skills to explain technology clearly to non-technical users
- Ability to quickly understand complex processes and requirements and summarize to be understood by senior mgmt incl relevant presentation skills (preparation & communication)
- Positive attitude, flexibility, curiosity and interest in working in a fast-paced environment with focus on improvement
- Solution orientated approach
- Open Minded / Team Player
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Higher education or degree in Business/Economics and/or Information Technology or equivalent
- At least 10 years of experience in related Business areas
- Solid understanding of product ownership, agile and scrum principles
- Strong hand-on knowledge of Design thinking ideologies and should have experience of working in Agile environment.
- Knowledge of tools like Sketch, Invision, Balsamiq is a must.
- Storytelling skills to explain technology clearly to non-technical users
- Experience with IT platforms or portals and able to translate clients' needs to user stories
- Experience in the Regulated Technologies industry or compliance domain within the financial industry is an advantage
- You possess excellent organizational skills and you can multitask in a fast paced environment while maintaining high level of accuracy
- A very professional, diligent and can-do attitude with experience in managing and communicating with stakeholders
- Superb communication skills in English, German is an asset
- Positive attitude, flexibility, curiosity and interest in working in a fast-paced environment with focus on improvement
