On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for an API Integration Engineer with proven experience working with Apigee.
Overview of the project:
- The successful candidate will work with project managers, developers, architects and other stakeholders to support the development and publication of APIs across the entire API infrastructure.
- The candidate will work with Apigee Edge to support of developer and application owners in the back office and market environment, problem determination, monitoring, installation and upgrades, performance optimization.
Skills:
- Over 5 years of experience in API Integration Engineering
- Experience with Apigee, ideally Google Apigee certified
- Development and / or use of HTTP APIs, especially REST.
- Linux knowledge (Linux operating system, commands and shell programming tools.
- Scripting languages and automation techniques for testing and deployment.
- Knowledge of OpenAPI 3.x. and the RESTful API principles.
- Understanding of the API lifecycle and knowledge of general tools available in this ecosystem Understand the DevOps principles and commonly used tools in DevOps pipelines.
- Familiarity with using and programming cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud and Azure.
- Docker containers and / or Kubernetes.
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Fluency English and at least level B1 of German
