Account Manager Telecommunications


Our client a leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure is currently looking for an Account Manager.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving sales targets by selling and promoting Network and IT Products and Solutions to one of the major Telecom Carrier Operators in Switzerland
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Actively collect customer requirements, organization of workshops and leading cross functional teams to success
  • Drive projects in close cooperation with solution responsible and internal support functions
  • Responsible for customer relationship management, lead continuous strategic account planning and collecting market intelligence data



Your profile

  • 4+ years' experience in sales in the telecommunications field
  • Understand the Switzerland Telecoms industry & Carriers
  • Strong sales skills, target orientation and being familiar with sales processes and methodologies
  • Strong relationship management skills with external and internal interfaces
  • Strong presentation skills, excellent interpersonal and leadership with strategic thinking
  • Self-motivated, proactive and target-oriented
  • Strong ability to learn, self-management skills and the ability to work independently
  • High flexibility and able to manage multiple tasks, being target oriented and able to work under pressure
  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse, high paced organization
  • Fluent in English and German is mandatory
